It very much depends how you intend to use it.
In the UK one of the first things people will say is security, however I do not know what the rate of theft of Defenders/from Defenders is like in Australia. Might be worth asking about that on AULRO.com Rust proofing is always worth doing. If going into the outback consider cargo barrier and long range fuel tanks. A rear door gas strut is also a good mod. If you are new to Defenders, would suggest you drive it for 3-6 months, get use to it and then slowly work out what you really need before splashing the cash on gear which is not really needed. What type of 110?
Wouldn't bother with the soundproofing under the bonnet - the standard shield does a good job and in your environment I'd be careful about adding anything that could cause heat retention issues. Otherwise, as stated, go slow and see what you need it actually needs. the problem with other people's recommendations is that they sometimes solve issues you don't have! |

Cheers for the reply yea going to get a roof rack for a first thing as well as we are planning on putting our surfboards on top along with camping gear
