Hi all, after selling my 67 series 2 a few years ago I decided it was now or never so placed the order and picked up my new 110 usw- love it and as someone once told me with landy's you need to appreciate what they are, not complain about what the aren't. Dinotrolled and ready for life Smile

The aintree green looks lovely too, really honest on the defender. Was sorely tempted but all dealers got a call in May stating production slots were pretty much full particularly in usw's so they weren't able to honour a order but fortunately had this in scotia grey, which manages to avoid looking too bling. It had the silver pack which apart from the roof was an option I could have quite happily gone without , but not having this option was suddenly not an option. It was this one or nowt.

Jake, lovely looking vehicle.
We love the contrasting roof, surprisingly many don't, but I think when the vehicle's all the one colour, it makes it look too "heavy/bulky",...IMHO of course!!
Love the roof on yours, "makes" the appearance I reckon.
We have an Indus Silver roof on our Keswick '90.

Thank you sir, very happy with the Aintree indeed. Wasn't a first choice though - I wanted a blue one but the colour was discontinued and then saw a demo Aintree in dealership and that's why we picked it. Glad I did in the end, as it turned out very nice.

Although you've picked the colour by chance as well, you'll see you get to love it! Looking at the extra pictures you posted, it does suit the truck really well - it's actually growing on me more I look at it Very Happy It has a bit of a greenish shade in it, I dare to say almost like a very light version of Keswick in metallic Embarassed Very light shade of course! But makes it look unique, haven't see a lot of them around.

And as for the silver pack, I saw one the other day in Santorini and the combination looked lush! Plus you've got some mods done already Thumbs Up Bright tail lights, silver side rails, Indus Silver grille and head lamp surrounds... my wife wants that on her 90 when it comes, we can do a trade off, if you fancy standard black ones Very Happy I'm even thinking if I should have selected contrast silver roof instead of body coloured black for her HT Whistle MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html
MY16 Santorini 90 HT - sold

IMHO, an indus roof with santorini black is the way to go...looks very smart. You can always get it painted?!

Hi Bigruss ,I had them added as I wanted to improve visibility a little and they let a little more light in too.

Good looking vehicle Jake.
I also very much would have gone for a blue had it been available (Oh Tamar blue where are you) so I ended up coming down on the other side of green that you did. Love the addition of the rear quarters, I didn't even pick it up at first but great little touch.
Travel well.
