What a shame, I really like these wheels, all the NAS had them. I've just swapped my wheel studs on the 90 for the longer type, so alloy wheel nuts won't fit.

These type of rims will be back in fashion, I guarantee it!

I think I got about 90p a kilo the other day for a set of discovery 2 alloys. These are probably about 12 kilos each, so you would probably get more than 40 quid as scrap?

Then again, for £40 why not just keep them as an option.

The wheels will be scrapped soon I feel. They came off the 110 but not load rated. Now I have boost alloys instead. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Its madness they are so cheap - years ago you would have had to sell a kidney to put them on your motor! Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Keep listing on ebay, eventually they will go. I was selling an old bit of carpet and that took 5 listings before it went. It would be a shame to throw them.

I have Freestyles on my 2001 HT County, they are the originals and I think they look great with a set of 255/85 KM2 Muds on them..Wink

cheers
