Your right about the cost of the twisted combo i paid if memory serves £360 for the boss and a momo milenium wheel..When in reality the cheapest momo milenium i could see on the net was £175 plus say £75 for a decent(but 2-3inch depth) boss say £235 quid so thats a £135 pound premium for the twisted combo.I combined that with the murrey snap off so for the total outlay of £490 i have a decent enough steering wheel (i would not have chosen that one if I had a choice)and a 1inch boss with a 1" snap off providing a decent system that does not look ridiculous and works very well.
Would i have liked it to be cheaper? well yes is the obvious answer but it does work well and provides that extra layer of security.....I dont wake up during the night with nightmares laced with shame and indignation that i have been fleeced by twisted like i do with the purchase of a a bleedin rubber nudge bar from LR for £388 now thats one i will take a long time to get over as i can justify the premium i paid for the twisted boss but not the nudge bar as i know it would have cost £30 or less to injection mould!

Although it's not just the pins missing there are also additional slots in the boss.
The Optimill boss that we supply comes with removable pins and slots so can be used for both and is one of the slimmest bosses on the market
If you dont mind sharing whats the depth of your boss? as " one of the slimmest on the market"is a little fuzzy on the detail! and i am sure folk on here would be interested!PsI hope its not a trade secret and i have not offended you with northumbrian unsophisticated ways!

My wife's Defender came with the rubber A bar but it had a bolt cover missing off it. I searched high and low to get one and in the end, out of desperation, I rang Land Rover who quoted me £78 for the whole set. I only needed one plastic cover and even the thought of the price as a whole set should I need it was alarming. In the end @thor a member here very kindly sent me two free of charge.
