Should read "has had".
There is a well known modification you can make to them to rectify a weak point in their security. What BPMan is saying is that this one has had it done. 2002 110 td5 |

I have a disklok on Wallace, whats this modification then, any chance of a pic or 2 so I might 'modify' mine. Whtas the weak point. Saw a youtube vid yesterday, and they were testing the clutch claw, and the disklok, hang on I'll try and find it........................
https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=...J3MMhhHlCg here it is, about 1/2 way thro the program. Its really is quite worrying. |

Interesting video, regarding the clutch claw, once it's set up for a defender you should pop some welds on the fitting and you won't be able to remove the bars with pliers, they would need grinding off and it would be an awkward Angle

I have checked with the manufacturer and this cannot happen as shown on the video when Clutch Claw is properly set up and installed!... I have followed the instructions, set mine up correctly and installed properly, it is impossible to remove it simply with a pair of pliers like that, impossible!... Stop worrying and just make sure you are set up and installed correctly... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |
