I ran 305/70/16 which are 33 x12 inches wide on 16x8s no bother so the width should be ok.
The only thing with 35's is you'll need a lift kit and possibly a better offset so probably ET0 or maybe even more negative |

No problem, just be aware of when you letting air out for better traction on soft ground, the risk of rip the tyre off the rim is greater. This also depends of wich tyremake you choose ( sidewall stiffness). God luck -99 Td5 90 CSW
