I have a nokia bluetooth hand free kit that i installed my self, i can hear people fine and they can hear me fine even at motorway speeds and i have a TD5.
Just what ever you do, dont buy a radio with a bluetooth kit built in, they are totally rubbish. Pete |

fitted a new sony radio (about £80) with blue tooth for both ipod and phones - & is better than the landy one - took 5 mins to swap and works really well for me ! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html

I have a Blaupunk Bremen MP78 in my Truck.
Gives great sound for Phone Calls, with Voice Control from my iPhone as well as A2DP music streaming. |

I put a nokia kit in the last 110 and had it replaced four times, at the same time I did this I put two in our lorrys here at work. All three have now been replaced with Parrots. My parott some times plays up where I have to unplug the power lead to the cotroling box and then plug back in but apart from that it works very well and has ipod conection via a lead.

Had a Nokia kit fitted to my Puma 110, and apart from failing to connect a few times had no real problems. Sound was good, but couldn't play music.
Have now just ordered a Parrot Mki9200 which should do both. Barney D4 - 2016 Graphite, Montalcino Red Written Off - 2010 90 Hard Top, Stornoway Grey |

There is a compromise -
Something like a Pioneer MVH-8200BT, which does all the usual iPod type stuff (indeed there's no CD drive), with a Parrot h/f kit built in. Works well in my 'other' van. James |

We have parrots in all the tractors and they do work much better the nokia in my land rover.
Think the radios with the kits built in would be ok if they had a external mic, the ones built into the face of the radio are truly sh*#te! |
