Welding! Are you missing the actual arb brackets on the chassis? I believe early defenders and 90's didn't have them.

An 85 90 will almost certainly require brackets welding to the chassis, unless it has had a replacement chassis at some point.

i've just done the same to my 1991 defender when I fitted later axles with anti roll bars, I ordered these brackets for the rears from YRM and they are excellent

I would take pics of mine but there is about 10" of rock hard mud caked on there are playing offroad ![]() |

genuine parts brackets are cheaper than the YRM ones... Especially with the discount from Dan at Duckworth.
