Spotted in filton Bristol, autobiography copy
Just seen this in macdonalds in filton Bristol nice copy of the autobiography ltd edition although thought they might have changed fog and reserve lights to nas and added a puma bonnet to make it look newer. The old reg gives away the true age Wink still nice black over grey paint wok.

Is it meant to be or does it predate the Final Edition being announced?

If the latter then which one is the copy?

No but I really don't understand why you'd ruin a vehicle which is classic in its own right by trying to imitate something which it can't be! And not even imitate it properly... 2016 Defender Adventure 110

It did look better in the flesh the paint job was good photo does not do it justice it had a nice set of sawtooth alloys aswell but changing the paint and a upgrading a few bit including sticking on a autobiography badge from a range rover does not make it a final edition.
However as ken said each to there own and what ever makes them happy! I'm sure it's someone pride and joy

I was looking at the Adventure 110 in Orange and my only thought was how nice it would be with a full set of G4 Decals on.

Not a real G4 but would be ace Thumbs Up

I saw a real autobiography in this colour scheme yesterday at the solihull factory/heritage tour (which incidentally is brilliant). The 90 was just about to go through the 'monsoon' soak test.

Not sure I liked the black over satin Grey but each to their own. Definitely had nas rear lights (all clear).

Also saw the heritage at the end of the tour and a part assembled adventure Thumbs Up Defender Puma 2.2 XS 90

It's not to my taste, but I don't really see how a coat of paint and a few other changes "ruins" a vehicle.

If that is the case, there are many members of this forum who have "ruined" vehicles to a spectular extent!

Aspiration or affordability perhaps? Isn't that what makes Defender ownership so unique and such a happy experience for a hell of a lot of people? I'd wager it's still 'work in progress' and he/she is satisfied the way it's coming along. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Missed that bit. Guess I may be going down for a stretch too if I'm hauled in front of the beak! Fancy sharing a cell Ken? Shocked Whistle

Maybe I should have bought an SVX in the first place? I would have got the steering guard, seats, eyewateringly expensive sticks etc. etc. thrown in ......on reflection, Nah mine's better, cost more but am I happy? Shocked

Can't see much wrong with it in my opinion, I would have thought a private reg would have been in order though to show its not the age it is.
Surely looking pretty new like that you'd not want the reg making it look old. Confused

Hi Steve, did you not think it may be on a private plate perhaps already? He may be a real bore and that was as close to 'yawn' his wife could get when buying him a personal plate as a birthday present......

My 1979 restoration's coming along quite nicely..... Laughing
