Door Hinge Bolts
I've searched past posts but cannot find the answer to this simple question. The M8 countersunk setscrews that secure the hinge to the front doors - are they secured by captive nuts? Or will I have to remove the door cards to put a the spanner on the nuts?

I think that depends on model and year, my front doors are but rear doors not!

The two bolts that go into the door on each hinge need a 13mm spanner on the back but the ones in the a/b posts have captive nuts. Ray

You should be able to get a slim spanner in from the side without removing the door card. Jeff

Thanks Jeffersj and others for info. I've had a look (should have done it before!) and have now found a slim open ended spanner that will fit without removing door cards. Cheers.
