Mixed reviews but generally very good.
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic29747....cing+beads If the valve is at 12 o clock none of the beads would escape if deflating. I have the 4x4 larger ones just for convenience as it was a new set of tyres going on. Be wary as different providers recommend different weights and some people have not had success. I went to Dynabeads.co.uk and whilst perhaps more expensive than Devon 4x4 the charts differ for certain sizes by up to an ounce per tyre. Thanks for the tip Yes I feel that I will go with Dynabeads themselves. Probably safer to err on the side of too many rather than too few beads.
I will be using 35" tyres on mine so hopefully the beads will be up to the job. Time will tell I guess. How have you found them to behave if you are on a rough road or hit a pothole? |

Once fitted I had a slight vibration at 50mph only but the tyre fitters had inflated all the wheels to 36psi. Once I lowered the fronts and raised the rears the issue has vanished. Potholes I try to avoid and with my 305s it'll have to be a biggun to affect vehicle trajectory. I am glad to be rid of all the stick on weights I used to have as they look extremely shabby after time.
