15,000 mile service
What if anything should be performed on a 2010 defender that just turned 15,000 miles?

Thanks

I should add it is about to be sold to a friend so it needs to be in top form and ready to be used without issue.

It all depends on the previous service history. Has it been done every year so far?

To follow the manufacturer service schedule, Defenders should be serviced every year or 12,000 miles (whichever is soonest).

If nothing has been done so far, I would be doing all oils and filters.

Regards

Mark.

Oil has been done a few times. Not sure about filters.

What about a brake flush? Is that needed?

This is what I got out of that

Renew Oil and Filter
Flush and drain Radiator (2ys or 40k) – Depending on type of engine coolent
Replace Clutch Brake fluid (2yrs or 40k) - DOT 4
Replace Brake fluid (2yrs or 40k) – DOT 4

The questions is for a truck barely driven is the brake, clutch and coolant change really needed?

My friend is selling the truck and just wants it be perfect for the new owner that is a friend. I'm just trying to help him out.

I should say if this truck belonged to you guys what would you do for a service to feel good about the sale?

I've heard that brake fluid change is not dependant upon mileage, it is required because the fluid absorbs moisture over time.
