i actually was tempted to put the bowlers on so i could see more of the awesome brakes... they apparently won't fit over the callipers tho
![]() there a very nice wheel. probably the thing most people compliment it on. |

Gotta love clean BIG Brakes, Had a few cars with nice brakes, & if they're clean, they're one of most "appearance improving" items on the car, as well as, more importantly, superb braking performance of course.. I 'm most particular about cleaning brakes & wheels, and so I do the brake calipers & inner rims as well, which can take me longer than washing the actual car! One of the biggest "turn offs" I reckon is the Sometimes MASSIVE wheels put on by the "bling boys", but they leave the standard brakes on, which look very "small" & diminutive. (Not really referring to Defenders here, but I see a lot of this on ordinary cars in Aus.) Pickles. |

Looking good, what sort of power & torque are you hoping for when that's bolted on?

I drove Alives black 90 and the torque was 530 from his rolling road
This is the same new turbo with the billet compressor it's going in Monday night. |

she just came back from the dealers after a month long visit... Brand new Gearbox and clutch. also a new front wind screen surround... I'm still convinced the gearbox is still crunching going into 3rd, I've looked under neath and confirm the gearbox is a brand spanker... new bell housing everything.

Well; After getting the car back earlier in the week and putting maybe 30 miles on the car over the course of week set off in it tonight, pulled away, went 1st to 2nd (setting off uphill) then 2nd to 3rd nasty crunch, depressed the clutch again, still won't go, pulled over, clutch pedal is stuck in position not moving. flat to the floor
im regretting telling them it had started to crunch going into 3rd gear... now I've got a brand new clutch and gearbox with a big problem when there was only a little problem with my last one.... repair was main land rover dealership warranty. |
