If it's never going to go off-road, just put a decent set road winter and summer road tyres for it.

You can use pretty standard tires of course, both the GG TR and the more recently used Contis as factory tire would do the trick. I do not off road either, run the GG TR since new and I think they also look very well on a Defender. In winter I run specific winter tires on Wolf rims, that would be today the Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT2 which here in Switzerland are the Land Rover recommended winter tire for Defender. Now, if you want to stick to one set of tires only for both summer and winter use, you might want to wait until July when the brand new BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 will be lauched here in Europe. (Exists already 6 months in USA). That will be a very good looking A/T tire which also is fully winter use rated with the snow symbol. Guess you catch it all with those, summer, winter, road, off-road, and good looks. Couple of pics.... You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

I have had BFG ATs on for 80000 on the 110, one set! They have been great in every condition, got them on the RR as well and handle the higher performance fine too, anything more road like looks too soft for a Defender too.
