I had black Dakars on my 90, they always seemed to get 'lost', which is why I opted for anthracite Blindo's for the 110.

Any recommendations for the best place to buy a set of 5 new Blindos in the UK?

Silverline?
Devon 4x4?
ARCasting direct? (Is this even possible?)
Somewhere else?

If anyone has had a particularly good buying experience from somewhere I'd be interested to know. I feel the purchase becomeing more imminent!

Thanks Mike. I am actually curious to know if they have an official LR part number, and their NSN.

Just part of my thirst for knowledge really (what SWMBO calls my OCD)!

Hi Blackwolf. Got mine direct from factory in Italy, AR Casting. They are called the F-15 Tech. Emailed and had great service. Spoke to Elena (e.andretta@arcasting.it) and was quoted approx £750 for five incl VAT and delivery. May not be too much of a saving on Silverline, but it was to my door. Silverline would only deliver UK, not France. Got Cooper ST Maxx shoes, fitted, for another £450. Obviously mine were all Euro prices and French delivery. Not sure how much this might help?

Not entirely, but Grenadier is in La Belle France. I was seeking UK recommendations.

There are many, though, myself included, who think I am losing my marbles!

Can I ask where you both bought them? What offset have you gone with (if any choice)? And how much roughly you paid (without sounding too cheeky)?

Thanks
Simon

Go direct to the factory. AR Casting.

http://www.arcasting.it/engracing/www/cata...alog_id=73

They are called the F15 Tech and exactly as those used by Brit Army and sold by Silverline.

Mine (Black) cost 1000€ (VAT Incl) for five including the fab chrome nuts, plus delivery direct to my door in France. I dealt with Elena. Super helpful, but speaks minimal English.

Great wheel, love em. Look best with Cooper ST Maxx, IMHO.... Thumbs Up

I am planning to be over for the LR Farewell in August. As it happens, may be looking to offload my Blindos (despite saying I love them just a single post ago), but only because I am looking to go for the all-in Bowler look. I can keep you posted and suggest a price closer to the time by PM, if you remain on the hunt? That would be shoed in Coopers Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

Grenadier: thank you very much for the information. I will send them an email at some point to see what they can do for me. My only concern is the offset. I currently run standard boosts with km2 and a 30mm spacer. I personally think the offset created is bang on with this combo.

You're very welcome, happy to help (and hopefully save you a few quid?). Re offset etc, the profile you see on mine in the photo is a straight, untouched mount as delivered. Think it looks bang on.... Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

That looks excellent, do you have any further photos please? I have just bought an '03 Belize green TD5 and I'm struggling with wheel options!

I tried AR Casting they referred me to the uk importer Silverline, who are the cheapest by far at £189. each inc.vat and delivery for white with et 15. Britpart also sell the same wheel (I assume) called Maxtrac Blindo, but they're no cheaper. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
