After all the various calamities of the day, we did actually do some miles through the forests of Bala and it's a fantastic place. Amazing scenery sprinkled with some nice little challenges.
This is the morning part of the drive through rocky moorland, ancient forestry and then some brand new tracks created by recent logging work. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos. |

Yes it's Land craft and Dave Mitchel is really good with us. When he saw that 6 vehicles arrived together and were obviously more prepared, he split us off into our own group and asked us what we wanted to do. That and the fact the forest is currently undergoing a lot of changes so is more fun anyway. The afternoon session was better again but I havent edited the footage of that yet! That's on a seperate film but it happened in the afternoon section and I've just realized we went up the track he eventually rolled on so you get to see another perspective of why it might of happened. That footage is a few days away yet Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos. |
