Hey twin, been looking for you everywhere! Nice rock rails, are they from rock-sliders.co.uk? |

Hi, I can't remember where I bought them, it was off eBay. They are galvanised and then powder coated Black. Very sturdy and as well as protecting my truck they double up as steps of course. 110 Hardtop

Difficult to determine but from Pob's description and picture the rock and tree sliders could be Safari Equipment ones perhaps? Brendan sells them if they are and you're interested in getting a set. I do quite like your side decals for some reason.

Looks fantastic!
Personally I would have kept the stripes but then I'm a sucker for a Utility Board defender Do you know its history? Hope she gives you many happy miles Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Thanks K9F - had a look on his site, another good contact.
Shaggydog, cheers, a bit late as they're gone already and my right arm is knackered Yes I know the history, it was an escort vehicle for a haulage firm in Inverness, full history from McRae & Dick Land Rover |

Ok, I know it wasn't that hard to spot! Got my priorities right eh, change the badge first, then change the swivel! I really had to be careful not to get the letters in the wrong order, that would've been very embarrassing!

Do you have a private number plate or does it accidentally say 'SEXAAY'?

I noticed that yesterday when walking back to it in the car park! Thankfully NOT a private plate, although with a wig I could pass for Brad Pit

So, a day tinkering today. Full deep clean of the cab. Fitted a cheapo steering wheel ( will get a momo when the essentials list is smaller and funds allow), new front rubber carpet, new door seals all round. Took the headliner out to clean it. Painted the cross member, took off the plough from the rear and fitted the tow electrics into the member. Stripped rear door down ready for replacement when it comes out of the body shop. Thoroughly satisfying
