Colour coding mirrors
how is this best done? Do people strip the mirror down or fit a cover that is painted?

I believe that most fit a cover. Clemmo has done it to his recently.

You could prep and paint the back of the original mirror body, but the text moulded into it would either take a lot of effort to flat out, or would look a bit messy under the painted finish. 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

Bolt on bits sell a cover for about £21 already painted in black or silver but this could be repainted reasonably cheaply Ray
