Looking for a living room tent, or gazebo.
Planning a few trips and I'm looking for some living space. My first thought was one of the fancy 270 degree awnings with walls but they cost a lot of money, they still require a setup and they are permanently mounted to the vehicle.

What I really want is a quick pop-up living room. I found the perfect thing but it has been discontinued and can't be bought.

Have anyone seen anything similar on the market? any similar recommendations?
The key here is quick to put up and to fold away even in a bit of wind so no fiddly large side walls!

The Quechua tents are great. Unfortunately they discontinued one of their best products.
The one you linked is the smaller version, it's just that bit too small unfortunately.

I'm actually looking now at maybe getting a inflatable tunnel tent instead. They seem very roomy and quick to put up and take down.

The Quechua tents are great - the best bit is watching someone fold it up for the very first time... Rolling with laughter

I've been googling tents all day. I have no idea what to do.

I'm looking for something which will work nicely behind the Defender. Too many options!

Get a Coleman Event Shelter with walls. It's very big, easy to put up and only costs about 200 quid.

These are so much money for a crap product, they don't seem to have improved their design. My dad had one and hated it. Twenty years later I borrowed one and had the same issues!

Coleman event pr they do an easy up and down heaxagonal tent which may help?

The carannex is a bit small and noone who actually ever used one recommends them.

I had a look at the coleman event shelter, a great jobby but far too much setup involved. I'm looking for 1 person to be able to set up in less than 10 min in a bit of wind.

Checked the jet tent, also the regular oztent. Both pretty interesting and both in the running at this point.

I'm using a 110 HCPU so space is not an issue, not one bit of an issue! Very Happy

At the moment I'm a bit swayed by the new generation of air tunnel tents. Like this one

I think setup and teardown will be as fast as you can get it really.

An air tunnel tent connected to the exhaust, like the air jacks, would make a quick install. There might be some downsides though.

My only concern would be longevity. Anything that is air tight will necessarily be very pliable and repeated folding together with time will see the membrane split and crack.
