I do like the Utility Wagon's, if we have another Defender at some point in the future, I'd probably look at having one. 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic

RE Modifications: I have one or two items taken off my last 90 to go on. I have a Devon 4x4 Bumper and Superwinch EP 9.5 to go on, A Lazer Lamps ST8 LED driving light bar and some how fit my MSA Safety and Medical VHF radio....
the problem is i'm really hesitant about getting the spanners out on such a new vehicle. |

Today I have...
Click image to enlarge Not a lot. Saturday afternoon was spent washing, Polishing and then Finally a coat of Extra Gloss protection. I must be an Auto glym reselllers' dream customer. And Today I spent the morning Providing recovery on a section of the Torbay classical reliability trial. The ground was dry enough that I wasn't needed thankfully. So I didn't have to wash it again. A Little update.....
I am keen not to go mad with the upgrades just concentrate on keeping it straight and tidy. So there is the rear Corner protectors Click image to enlarge And just in shot the Dixon bate adjustable hitch replacing the standard one. And a little bit of underbody protection in the form of some rather tasty WildBear Diff Guards. Quickly up to date...
If you was at the ALRC National Rally then you might of seen me in Group lead marshal mode and enjoying a nice drive around the Tracks of Eastnor Castle, not to mention the little bit proper off the tracks stuff. Overall i'm really liking the puma with it's technology to help. Using the antistall to creep along keeping grip where it is marginal not to mention the Traction control keeping it going. all this meant that I had to have a major clean. Click image to enlarge All the wheels off and a major pressure wash took me about 4 hours to get the underside satisfactory. I have also added a little bit of underbody protection in the form of a Wildbear Transmission guard. Click image to enlarge and whilst not pictured I have also added Mantec rock sliders to protect from car park dents. I am slowly getting it to where it can fulfil the roles I ask and yet not make it look like I have spayed it with a parts catalogue. |

Thanks.. after years of a the slightly beaten up series .. disco .. 90 route the Neighbours joking expect me to keep this nice and clean. Maybe it was because I went from the oldest car on the street to almost the newest
I did the other week use it to pop up to Bearmach HQ in Caerphilly to pick up a chassis. only a 330-ish mile round trip and Compared to much older versions the 'Puma' is a very civilised mile muncher... Click image to enlarge |
