2014 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Willow Green

2.2 Puma Turbo Upgrade

Hello.

Having had a Stage 1 and Stage 2 done by Gary at Alive my D90 is - to put it mildly - a lot of fun.

However, I'd like to get an uprated Turbo for it (I believe VGT - Variable Geometry) is the way forward but am happy to be corrected.

Trouble is, nobody seems to have any available for the 2.2 Puma. I know Alive are trying to get hold of one, but I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows who might have a 2.2 VGT available?

The 2.2 is already variable geometry. I guess an upgrade would consist of different compressor and fan setups? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Great start. Thanks. I'm confused by the BAS site. On part of the page says 'Awaiting Stock' and the other part says 5 in stock . . .?

The IRB Site has been displaying 'Coming Soon' for quite a while now and 'email for details' which I did many weeks ago but never got a reply.

Give Pete at bas a ring or drop him an email I'm 90% sure he will have them in stock he wa the first person to have the uprated turbo for 2.2tdci available !

Thanks for the advice and the offer of one for sale - much appreciated.

I have however now solved the problem. Gary and Alex at Alive Tuning got one for me and it's now fitted and running.

What it like from tuned too upgraded turbo. I was told by someone that had it done that it was power only up top!
