Both new from paddocks.
As I'm at work and generaly don't have time to check these things out, I thought I'd ask. Every monday evening I have 4 hours to do stuff, but if I need bolts and don't have them, it'll be be for the next week. Also, to "offer them up" I need to change clothes, move the car, get under it, replace the car and get changed and take a shower (you know when you crawl under it, you start doing other stuff ). This 'll take me at least an hour... Hence I thought I'd just ask, which I thought was easier and faster |

I would guess if bolts were needed then they should supply them with the parts ( should ? lost ? not packed ? )
give paddocks a ring and ask them ? , maybe easier option looking on there website , pm1279 110 fuel tank guard 98- says "Uses existing fittings" ( don't know if this is the one you got ) looking at pic of fuel cooler guard on there site also looks like it Uses existing fittings |

Hi,
Why not get a certain amount of SS bolts and stopnuts anyways. Like 3 lengths of M8, M6, M5, M4 bolts and stopnuts for each. I keep a kit of those at home all the time and take it on the car when going on safari. This doesn't cost a fortune and you will eventually need them here and there. Maybe also consider a rivnut-gun and a couple of M6 rivnuts. Having some basic assortment of nuts and bolts at home doesn't require much space and money and will actually save time going to the hardware store each time you need something. Just my 2 ¢ here, |

Thx everybody.
@munch90: I think so too that it uses existing fittings based on description and images, just hoped to get some confirmation. @sraosha: noted and I have most of it. However, as I'm following evening school car mechanics every monday evening, I'll be fitting it at school. Problem is, I like to carry just what I need and not move the whole garage every week. I'll see if I cannot crawl under the car this packed weekend, and determine what to do then. If not, i'll be checked on monday and fitted a week later. If I can remove the bolts and reuse them, but they appear to be corroded, I'll want to measure them and replace them with stainless ones. Put some coppergrease on them as well while I'm at it. |

Well got under it. Fuel cooler guard is already installed. Easy peazy!
Fuel tank guard doesn't need any extra bolts as well. Will need to remove the NAS step and loosen the towing brackets to get it fitted but it may result in a nice bonus: as that structure is now tilting up slightly, with installing the guard it may come level Will need some extra hands to get it mounted but will have plenty at school monday. |
