SLROC RTV/Tyro and Driving Day 23/24th May
May Holiday Weekend BATHGATE RTV/Tyro/CCV and Driving Day

22nd to 24th May

at the great site of Bathgate with free camping all weekend
A proper FAMILY weekend, with an emphasis on conviviality
What's on...

Friday 22nd

help needed to set up, ending with a BBQ night
(and maybe a game of "musical chairs for Land Rovers")

Saturday 23rd

TYRO + RTV + CCV trials - must be members to take part but spectators welcome. Can join on the day.
Bumper Chinese Carry-oot
Live Music - from Uncle Red
Theme - Rock'n'Roll
Donations at the door

Sunday 24th ALL WELCOME

Driving Day with demo trials sections,
auto jumble, Land Rover parts
Kids driving area, Fun section reversing
Burger van, Club shop,Cake stall
Donations of home baking 2015 RRS Autobiography SDV6

Bathgate is a great day out, fantastic views and a nice big site to play on. Unfortunately we won't get along as we have a big job on over the next 5 weekends and we move into our new home in this week.
My 110 was there as the Pentalnd demo last year, you guys bringing some kit along this year?

Hi John,

I'm not aware of us having a presence at the event, if I had known about it sooner I may have asked the management team. To be fair, I can't see an event like that resulting in a huge amount of sales to warrant the effort. I do know we will have a good set up for the R.H.S this year.

Funnily enough, the 10 plate defender next to yours, I sold to a chap up in Aberdeen.
I used it a few times when going mountain biking with mates. Never even had a radio in it!! Laughing

Haha, I know what it's like singing to yourself in a Land Rover!!! I think Richard Blyth was the man behind the Pentalnd presence, I know Richard isn't as active in the DLROC as he used to be.

I was speaking to Richard earlier today,

It appears that we will be having a stand at the event and possibly a couple of vehicles there too.

I'm tagging along on the Sunday for a play and to give Richard a hand with the set-up.

And to think my managers didn't want to ask me!! Thumbs Up

Looks like I have done more damage than was previously thought to my Defender when I
bent the steering a few weeks back Whistle
So I doubt I will be bringing mine and just one of the demo vehicles
(which I can't kick the hoop out of Evil or Very Mad)
