Hi Catherine
The genuine dog guard fitted to my TD5 has the bottom section at an angle but the top part is vertical. No, it is a two piece. It was fitted by LR from new and is correctly bolted in.
If a one piece was fitted to the mounting locations mine uses it would certainly be at an angle. You can see the angle of the bottom part in this picture, closer to the front at the bottom. My one piece dog guard in my Td5 110 is angled at the bottom but the top piece is vertical, it wasn't when I bought the motor but I took it out and turned it round and it made the difference.
