Hi Pickles
Thank you for your post. I note your comments and would advise that as we draw nearer to the end of the production of the Defender, Land Rover may look to celebrate the heritage of the Defender in a number of different ways. However, at the current time Land Rover have not made any announcements regarding this. Thank you for your suggestion, I have passed on your feedback to the relevant areas of the business. Regards Ryan |

Ryan, Here in Switzerland the JLR importer has made big announcements about such Defender farewell celebration. They have opened a specific website for this early in March. All well documented in below thread. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic35698....r+farewell So people like myself have registered for the event to be held on July 4th now almost 2 months ago, and we all got a message that our registration was noted and that further details would be provided, and then............. only silence. Silencium triplex until today. Quite disappointing I would say to not hear anything further for almost 2 months now, while the date of the happening is less than 2 months away from today. Think you should bring this to attention of JLR mgmt. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Definitely up for a DVD if available. Looking forward to a factory visit in June (and maybe the LR weekend at the Gaydon Heritage Centre the following weekend 28 June from memory). Ian One wife - livid
