Not sure about the finish or indeed value for money, but that's a lot of tune for a TD5?

What a monstrosity. All that power and just the standard brakes to stop you from killing yourself Tom

Interesting that the Engine Size (in ccm): 2,000 ?
A 2002 model with only 3000 miles? The whole ad is riddled with errors like "ZINK COATED!!" "TO LAST A LIVETIME "and it is SHOUTING . Avoid for sure. |

I actually like the look of that, change the wheels though My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years.

I'll stick my swede above the parapet and spelling/shouting asides with a few personal tweaks (wheels included) it could be improved upon to suit the personal choice of any buyer easily. I think with the preparation, galvanised chassis and finish, obviously alot of money, time and attention to mechanical detail has been spent. I quite like it too on the face of it.

So apart from only being 2000cc but more powerful, do you think that the BMW Td5 engine has any similarities to the Landrover Td5?

I was more referring to adding 6pots. Uprating the power by so much over standard I'd want something more than drilled discs and some marginally better pads. Tom @tditomprice 100” Defender Hybrid 2010 Alaska White 90 HT |

Don't worry about the brakes - for two reasons vented 110 brakes are good and it won't be making 250bhp

they aren't 6 pots... what I'm guessing is the brembo upgrade, different discs / pads
there a lot smaller than my 4 pot rears aren't they just stock callipers painted green? |

Luke,
You know I think your truck is well thought out & hence is rather fab; but I suspect this FleaBay truck is more along the lines of this... Click image to enlarge "Ease your worries, Clear-up your woes, Go into your garage & put stuff into rows." |
