3 things could be wrong
Hydraulics not pushing far enough ( master adjusted wrong ) First motion shaft stuck in spigot bearing clutch plate |

Hi Munch90, I've blead it 3 times, threre is pressure pushing the fluid out, tried adjustment, I suppose try more top of the pedal.
Clutch, could I have fitted this the wrong way round or would that be impossible, I know different clutches would be as the springs would be against the flywheel. |

Pic of the top of the pedal adjuster would be good
be honest never tried fitting clutch plate wrong so dont know if springs touch flywheel or not did you take engine out or box out ? change spigot brg? was there a gap between bell housing and engine that you pulled up with bellhousing bolts ? |

Tried loading picture not working don't know why. The end nut is about 2 threads in from the end of the shaft, then pedal and then lock nut, as you look down from the top
New spigot bush fitted, removed box and yes it's pulled up to the bell hosing |

Hi munch90, yes the box fitted right up without be pulled in by the bolts.
Just been reading on another forum that the clutch plate must have the longest side of the centre splined facing flywheel? |

All finsihed, just thought it was adjustment issues but I have been trying and nothing happens you just now it's something else.
I can't remember which way round the friction plate went in. But as you both say box out again, thanks for the info guys, think I'll hire an engine hoist and have then engine out as it will be quicker, gives me the option to have a look at the vacuum pump oil leak I suppose. |

Occasionally the face to the engine is marked in some way or another. Sometimes very faint. The face of the friction plate with the raised profile is normally to the gearbox.
That description is pants I'm sorry ill try and get a pic |
