I have the TuffTrek awning with the side panel and extension kit and can say quality is spot on . Ive never had one before to do a comparison with but stood up well when set up around the lochs of Aviemore Scotland a couple of weeks ago. exellent service and communication from Dara at Tufftrek too. can recommend

Thanks guys I'm going to throw another one in the ring, anybody use the eezy awn roof tent? It seems a bit more mid range than the tuff and howling moon I'm all for buying cheap but don't want to have to replace after a couple of bad storms and we get plenty in the Lake District
Thanks again |

regarding easy awn, my series 3 rtt is now in its 9th year permanently on a roof (disco1-trafic-defender) never comes off
replaced the cover last year as it started to look real bad but was not leaking yet. (we have -20 as well as +35 here, so the cover has a hard life) We use the rtt about 50 days per year in all seasons and conditions. Never had a problem so far. I know what brand to choose when time comes to replace the RTT. One advise: do not underestimate the wooden floor, it makes a world of difference regarding condensation and isolation in winter. |

Well I have just bit the bullet and ordered a eezi awn t tent xclusive 1.6 with full base surround from arb trading, wasn't really after buying new but really struggled to get the set up I required and after all the research I hope i will still be using it in 10 years. Just waiting for roof bars, then I'm heading Brendan's way for a foxwing and sides.
Just hope I've made the right decision as its serious bloody cash |
