Dont go mad on the exhaust you fit as some large bore ones cause drivability problems. The 2.2 while it has its DPF still fitted never sounds much more than standard with a new exhaust so dont spend a fortune on something that wil give no gain.
Remap, Intercooler and may be a turbo if you want to push it is all thats currently needed for a quick 2.2. Pete |

I changed the k&n back to the standard filter by the way ha ha. I'm thinking about maybe just getting rid of silencer as I just want a louder exhaust not really after more power

Good,, the aftermarket filters just kill power as I showed you.
For the exhaust you dont want much more than this,, straight through exhausts dont make much noise difference at all on the puma 2.2 because the DPF holds all the sound back. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DEFENDER-90-TD5-...5895d09c5d |

It sounds like both BAS and Alive have two very interesting developments running at the moment, the Artic p3 from Alive sounds very interesting giving to the option to change between different maps that have been written for you. BAS has also announced the all singing and dancing BAS2 remap remote control that seems to have unlimited functionality, it will be interesting to see how they line up in terms of practicality and pricing.
All this is good for us but makes decision making even harder. Keep up the good work. Thanks 2.2 2012 110 utility Orkney Grey Also Range Rover Evoque - Surprising but I like it. Previous Freelander 2 SD4 HSE - Black 90 TD5 Discovery 3 Early Discovery. |

Sightly going off original thread but Pete, the link is for a td5 pipe. I presume that wouldn't fit on a 2.2 would it?

5 Pot, Yes the centre pipes can be used on the 2.4 and 2.2 with only a slight bend or the wire bracket that fits onto the exhaust rubber.

I had no idea that it would fit! So I am glad 5 Pot asked and that certainly is what I was looking for! bit of a bargain, tied in with the right remap. Still loving the remap on our 2.4 Pete!
