Based on my personal experience with the first 8700s never again. Noldens for me personally along with at least two other forum members that used to have JWS fitted. The looks and light output were never an issue. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Interesting piece of info there. I know Tim once wrote on here that he would arrange for a EVO1 to EVO2 swap deal, and kudos to him for doing that now. ![]() I am interested in the better light output of the EVO2 also (I mean even better than the EVO), but still not convinced about the looks of that top half circle led which is built in as combined DRL and parking light. To me it seems a bit over the top, and I do not need extra DRL as I have them already in my Alive bumper. Maybe I will mellow to the idea of having such a half circle parking light, so we will see. Nothing bad to say about my current EVOs light output though, just perfect. Now as to looks and going just a bit ![]() If any of the site sponsors here would be interested to make me an offer for simultaneously taking back a set of pico bello EVO1 with position lights, no corrosion, no water ingress, (I even have the boxes), and sell me a pair of new Truck-Lite Phase 7, I am ready to receive a PM from them. ![]() Eric You never actually own a Defender. ^^ Confused about the terminology being used. Logically speaking RHD stands for Right Hand Drive, no? Which is us here on the continent, who drive on the right side of the road
![]() Brendan, I would need to get rid of my EVOs if I buy another pair of LED lights. I do not need to be in a hurry, the EVOs are really up to snuff. But I am tempted by the more classic look of the Truck-Lites.... Eric You never actually own a Defender. LOL, logic has little to do with vehicles at times.
RHD is basically drivers position viewed from rear of the vehicle so Right Hand Drive is for Left Hand Traffic Left Hand Drive, driver on left side of vehicle as viewed from the rear of the vehicle is for Right Hand Traffic. Brendan |
