sorry is it just me or in this sanitised world are we not allowed to agree with such comments ?
- where have the good old days gone when Charles Bronson was in the movies and all that - when black was black, white was white, 2 + 2 = 4 and not more than 3 but less than 5 ? running races at school were won and lost not rather than won and almost won !!! ?? when travelling to Europa was an adventure and not as it is now, just one sprawling mess? ................ |

While I agree with the point of your post, this case is different. We have a justice system in place in the UK and to set yourself up as judge jury and executioner is just plain wrong. The people involved in this entrapment exercise should have handed over their finding to the relevant authority, the Paedophile Unit and let them deal with it. This unit is much more proactive now due to recent finding and is much more in the public eye than it was in the past.
Also if the aim of this group was to rid the streets of child molesters then it could be looked at as some kind of service, although to do so in the way they did would still be wrong. However, this was not fully the case as part of their aim was to blackmail the suspects, that practise would not make the streets any safer, where the police if given the information, and if found to be proved would have. can't talk about things that aren't deemed politically correct - doesn't surprise me.
I know the UK is part of Europe and as such I was including the UK in my comment.....there's adventure in travelling like there used to be (clearly all comments should be taken at value and don't forget your house is at risk if you don't keep up with repayments .......) |

OK agreed policing is polices job but if the individuals are guilty of grooming then what a damn fine job of catching them (not agreeing that the blackmail is right) but I tell you something - if the my children ended up being groomed (i'd like to think that wouldn't be possible and I didn't even want to consider what the implications of being groomed might include) I wouldn't be an ounce of sympathy for the guilty and if a group found the guilty party and beat the F out of them I would consider that a job very well done.
Not like what often happens......murders and the like get more human rights than the victims - how can that be right? Too many wet flannel do Gooders out there for my liking |
