Chile 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Stornoway Grey
Call from the Dealers
Hi guys!

I receive yesterday a call from our LR dealers asking if I'm willing to make a reservation of one Adventure Defender.
All the chat went quite good until I ask the price for this beauty: CLP 47 millions!!!, (equivalent to ~GBP 52,000) Shocked .

When I bought mine 7 years ago cost me CLP 17 millions or GBP 17,000 at that time. Considering the inflation will be GBP 19,000 now. 2.7 times more!

For sure all the mods doesnt cost that.
Crazy world Eduardo

It's a special edition though, so you could argue it's worth more than the sum of its parts to the right people.

Not for me though, I'd just buy a standard new one and spec it exactly as I'd like it.

Side note, £50k is 50 million in Chile?! Haha. Never knew that. Cheers, David

Switzerland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
^^ David, and in a country that I know quite well, Iran, those same £50k would be a cool 2.1 Billion Iran Rial. Laughing IRR 2.111.323.792,34 to be exact. Thumbs Up

I was just at my dealer to pick up the SVX, and they told me that finally the Swiss official price for the three Celebration editions has been fixed recently. The Autobiography final price comes to CHF72.000 on the road, that is about 50.600 GBP. But it is 20% more than what was expected, and also the final price for the Adventure and Heritage are quite a bit higher than anticipated first. All 300 Heritages, 100 Aventure and 50 Autobiographie allocated to Switzerland remain sold though.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
