I'd put money on that its the springs rather than the shockers, most likely HD ones.

Check the tyres pressures too, I run 32 front 34 rear.

Chrispy - I just measured my ride height for you and took a pic. I have a gap of 12cm between top of tyre and the wheel arch. Same front and back.

The rear springs are Britpart HD +2s and the Fronts are 'standard V8 90' rear springs (which quite conveniently I already had when we did our expedition mods and fit the calculations for length and compression rate perfectly!).

Bear in mind my 90 has an external/internal expedition roll cage and a front winch as it stands normally. With the roof tent and all the other camping kit packed it does sit lower of course.

Despite what others may say, if you already have the springs and are happy with ride height then look at your shocks first as getting the right combo can make a significant difference. My other half likes the ride we get with the Koni shocks on mine so much that he is going to swop his challenge motor over to them. He currently uses 2 shocks per corner but will go back to 1 each corner with the Konis.

Comparing your pic against mine, I'd say the ride height on yours is a little too high! I am quite fussy about such things too, and much prefer my current height to the standard I had before, but I think your big gap makes the wheels look a little small! Don't tell the missus I said that - lol Smile

Bare in mind that a 110's rear springs are a bigger diameter than the fronts - but on the 90, RRC, and Discovery the front and rears are interchangeable.

Interesting, they don't state whether they're from an SW or HT though. I assume they have different springs? Tom

They do - in fact their are HD variants too - you'd need to contact them and ask for the colours to confirm the rate.

The big plus with genuine springs is the rate is consistent with each spring you buy.

My experience with cheaper ones is that the rate has been way higher than it should have been.

Clearly from Pam's experience - they aren't all like that. But it's the inconsistency that makes it difficult and presumably it's down to less stringent quality assurance on the products..
