A mate sent me this link, from over on the D3 forum; as a solution to worrying over bramble rash, generally damaging your paint whilst out green laning etc all for £80 @ truck! it seems like a great, simple (& easily removable) idea so

The panels need to be sparkly clean first as magnetic stuff like that will trap dirt and grit which in itself can cause scuffing and scratching. Steve.

vinyl wrap is the answer for us defender owners. its a clever solution but dammit!.. i still haven't found a magnetic aluminium
