Wow!
I know amongst the LR fraternity the modern vehicles are Marmite, but you can't deny how safe they are! First watch this Video Seems nasty but not so bad eh? However, then watch this video to see what happened next! How did they walk away from that! Looks very safe to me; the passenger cell remained in shape and the car fell from a great height.
Imagine (or not) the same thing in a Defender..... (would rather not my self!). Cheers Don. Last edited by DonH2000 on 9th Apr 2015 9:59am. Edited 1 time in total |

just watched them in reverse and it looks like someone getting into a 6 month 90 with seized door hinges which then a takes off and morphs into an ewok.....

After almost skidding into to them too. Imagine surviving that and then some idiot kills you after you got out. Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

I think it starts out as a RR Sport and then ends up as an Evoke
Quite impressive though! Imagine the insurance form! "Can you state the nature of the accident?" "See enclosed youtube links" Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

I couldn't make my mind up originally if it was a RRS or Evoque either. But looking at the size compared to other cars, I think it's an Evoque.
I was pretty impressed that the battery stayed in place and operational. The lights are still working after. In fact, it's probably the emergency lights started up. Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |
