dual fuel tanks
i got defender 90 with one tank in middile my Q is can i fit rear tank to it
how and why some has middile tank and other rear? is ther is any defender with dual tank installed from factory

A friend of mine has a TDI 90 with the tank under the drivers seat. He bought the rear chasis members with plastic tank, from a scrap TD5 90. After some butchery (technical term) he fitted the tank as in the TD5. Fitted the filler as the TD5 and then added a fuel transfer pump. When the main tank is low he makes a switch and transfers fuel forwards. A very succesful mod as he now has a greater range than my 110. Thumbs Up Whats broken now ?
