Thanks James I will try again tomorrow with some more tests... And see what the voltages look like with the multimeter..

The Albright and lodar are definately fine as can see the light in the lodar for each function and get clear solenoid click on in or out... The motor / whole thing has been out for 8-10 weeks so should be fine but will give it a little persuasion just in case.

Electrics are not my thing so somewhat lost in next best thing to check so advice appreciated! Defender 90 TD5 County -
You need only two tools in life: WD-40 and duct tape.
If it doesnt move and it should: WD-40.
If it moves and shouldnt: duct tape it.
