Congratulations...It gets better as they get older (up to about six then rebellion starts to come to the fore) at about two and a half is the best, if you could buy them at that stage from the supermarket I'd fill my trolley every time! Laughing

I couldn't post any pictures as with an 'elected cesaerian' (too posh to push) they would have looked like something from a Clive Barker horror movie!

Congratulations again Disco. When's number two? Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Discocuzzy, Alantd,

Was thinking of you both momentarily earlier on in the week (not in a gay way I hasten to add! Laughing ) but with your recent new arrivals and how time just flies by.....

According to my calculations the next quite traumatic and emotional event will be the 'first day of school' and will occur for 'yours' in about four years time. Nearly bought a tear to my eye leaving something so small and vulnerable looking at the school. Mum was 'in bits!'

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Like her uniform too....Because she's got no waist if she runs quicker than 5mph the skirt gets left behind, subsequently she's under strict instruction that a 'brisk walking pace' will suffice! You've hit the nail on the head. Our little boy (now 3) went off to pre-school for the first time a couple of weeks ago.

We were expecting tears and trauma from his first separation and there were - from his Mum Laughing

It's amazing how fast they grow up.

True story: He ran out of school at the end of his first day into his Mummy's arms shouting:
"Mummy, Mummy, I've painted you a picture",
as he handed Mrs D a soggy sheet of indecipherable markings.
"Wow - what is it?",
she inquired enthusiastically
"it's a roof rack for Daddy's Land Rover!"

I'm so proud Big Cry One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Absolutely priceless!! I'm proud for you! Thumbs Up

My lad 'Ferdelance' (Name on Defender2) started counting I suppose about 3 years of age. He said to me "I can count to 10!" Which he duly did! I then aked him if he could do it backwards?
"Of course I can he said!" He then turned 180 degress about so the back of his head was facing me and began..." 1, 2, 3 , 4....."
I still laugh about it to this day some 12 years later! Rolling with laughter If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
