Noise cancelling headphones...
I've had a go with Bose comfort 25 and the parrot noise cancelling headphones, Bose seem to have the edge... Does anyone have any longer term experience with either ?

Not long term experience......more like a week Smile

I bought the BOSE in-ear NC set for a recent biz trip to California and was very impressed
With their performance, comfort and battery life (re-chargable). The bad part was the obviously the price.

I do a lot of travelling, so spend a lot of time in airports and on planes. I have the Bose Quiet Comfort 2, which I've had for years and absolutely love them. The noise cancelling works very well. They are the full over ear ones, so can be worn on long 12 hour flights and will not hurt your ears.

Cheers
John

I travel a lot but can't see the need to buy my own when BA issues noise cancelling head phone in business class. Russell

There is a huge difference between the BA business class ones and the Bose. I fly business class as well, but still prefer my Bose. Thumbs Up

+1

I use the Bose in-ear NC set now for nearly 2 years during several trips, I find the bonus of the in-ear set is that you can still wear them when your head (ears) is resting against a pillow. I even use them in the plane without playing music but with NC on if I want to sleep. Cheers, Vincent

I refuse to slum it in business and always go first. Bose always at my side, never fly without them.

I just sit between two large people in poverty class, the seats are so close together that their flabby shoulders are pressed up against my ears and I don't hear a thing ! Rolling Eyes Laughing

Have had the 'on-ear' Bose NC for over 3 years and the in-ear for about a year. Both brilliant and enable me to listen to music when mowing the lawns Thumbs Up even driven over the in-ear ones and they still work well
