I have no idea what a drl controller is, well i do now. Do these come with the lights or is it something you have to source alone?

No you can get controller on there own , not expensive about £20 here
easy to wire pos to battery , earth , wires to drl lights , wire to sidelight ign on no lights start engine lights come on side light on , drl dims or goes out switch off lights go off there are lots of controllers available that do diffirent things , some dim , some drl goes off with sidelight etc |
