DRL's
Day Time Running Lights

Where under the bonnet is the simplest place to take a ignition feed or similar for these lamps. 2010 Defender 130 HCPU

Why would you need a ignition feed for drl lights

if you use a drl controller then you only need perm + and earth

not sure of law where you are , but drl lights here have to dim or go out when you switch side lights on , if you run lights all the time at same brightness thats illegal here

I have no idea what a drl controller is, well i do now. Do these come with the lights or is it something you have to source alone?

Have to check the law here then... 2010 Defender 130 HCPU

No you can get controller on there own , not expensive about £20 here

easy to wire
pos to battery , earth , wires to drl lights , wire to sidelight

ign on no lights
start engine lights come on
side light on , drl dims or goes out
switch off lights go off

there are lots of controllers available that do diffirent things , some dim , some drl goes off with sidelight etc

Ah all clear now, thanks for that did a google search, not many in AU, lots on eBay, placing a order with Amazon UK
