16" Sawtooth Wheels: do they need spacial wheel nuts?
Thinking of upgrading to 16" Sawtooth Wheels for my 2.4 Puma and read a post that some 18" Sawtooths needed special wheel nuts.

Do the 16" ones need spacial wheel nuts or can I uses my standard LR nuts I use on Boost and Zu wheels?

If yes, is that why I see them advertised "with centre caps and wheel nuts" as a package?

Mine are genuine Landrover and they use the same nuts as the boost. 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW

It's probably because if you are replacing steel wheels, you'll need the alloy wheel nuts. Wheel nuts for steel wheels are different.

Yes I know about the difference between steel and alloy wheel nuts; its the Sawtooth question I am interested in.

Thanks, Don.

Believe it was the 18" Sawtooths that had the issue but only with the locking variety.

I understood your question, but you asked why they sold alloy wheels with nuts, and I guessed it may because if a purchaser was going from steel wheels they would also need new nuts (Smile) getting new wheels and no nuts would be like buyng a toy with batteries not included... Razz
