2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Alaska White

Our Last Defender

So having had a 1973 SIII, rebuilding a 1955 SI for my dad, giving a 1958 SI to my brother in-law when I left Zimbabwe and running a 1989 110 for 300 000 km - (currently off the road for a rebuild but in mint body condition). The decision had to be made on whether or not to get an "end of era 2015" - after much contemplation it has been done! It will be our last - but why care we will be using it for the next 30+ years

Some might call me mad but there is nothing else out there (and we looked) that speaks to my heart and has the soul of the enormously imperfect Landy......funny reminds me a bit like my children (which includes our 400 000 km Disco II) ! So with that we bought our new Landy. No intention to rush into fancy mods or "kitting out" - hey we have plenty of time for that!

Fortunately for you, with the weather conditions out there Landies CAN go on forever, no rust issues there

but in the UK, unless you take lot's of rust proofing, the tin worm catches up with you. Congrats and good luck with your new purchase
