Large Size roof top tent and 2,4 m Hannibal awning on 90
Hi, I would like to hear some advice on my planned camping set up for my 90 SW.

First, we like the large size Maggiolina or Columbus type roof top tents, especially the space provided with 165 cm width feels very comfortable. At the same time, the width of the roof of Def measured under the curved top panel is only 145 cm. This means 10-10 cm overhanging on both sides, and I am afraid that it might look weird.

Second: I have been offered a nice Hannibal awning , but this is the longest one 2,4 m , with side panels in very a good condition for a decent price. Now, the roof of the 90 is only 210 cm long..again the overhanging issue...I am afraid that with that "oversized " set my 90 will look like a small kid in his fathers hat on?? Shocked

What do you think, Gents?

The hannibal awning is a great bit of kit, but it fits a 110 roof rack so I doubt it will fit a 90 at all. 2.2 Tdci 110 XS CSW Corris Grey

Thanks for the inputs. I still hesitate though...maybe I will invest a bit more and find a small caravan.
