And one more question-for my 100th post- please..
My puma's injectors are more noisey-rattling than on my mate's puma. Can i do injector learn and pump learn ONLY without updating-changing the current calibration version? Thanks. |

The latest calibration version is FDE (in the case of your mates 110) so there's even an update for that! The difference between FDD and FDE is negligible, but the difference between the very old HG calibration and the latest CE/DE calibration is significant.
You can do the pump learn and pilot correction learn procedures on your existing calibration, no problem. It might be worth you looking at the live data of your mates 110 and comparing them with your own, paying particular attention to the fuel rail pressure. A variance would suggest a fault with your VCV and so it would be a good idea to replace this, and then carry out the pump and pilot learn procedures. Regards, Gary. |

I went for a short drive with the nanocom plugged, max fuel pressure reading was 123.56 but to what units is this measured,if MPa then its only getting up to 1235.6 bar????

Can't remember what the units are, but when I checked my old 2.4 (unknown calibration level but running ok) on the Nanocom, it showed a max of 158 and about 23 at idle.

I also found this that matches your readings too! http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic24890.html
Thanks to Lorryman100 for the video,i'll make some more live data recording but it seems i am low on pressure - fuel not blood |
