So, I have made a few more changes over the last couple of months.

Had a new steering box fitted, no more oil drops on the drive, but that's not very exciting!

Have fitted the Wipac Crystal lights and Wipac LED side lights and indicators. I originally bought the clear for the rear, but swapped these back to coloured as the clear looked too blingy.

I have also swapped the boosts for some sawtooth replicas, changed the grill and light surrounds to black ones and added black chequer plate.

I also replaced the very rusty tie down rings in the back!

I personally think it looks a lot better now.

Exterior wise, aside from refurbing the side steps, I think that's pretty much it, I may add a NAS rear step, but that's low on the priority list now.

I am now thinking about sound proofing and dinotroling the chassis - all jobs for the nicer weather me thinks!

Looking good Thumbs Up

I have a poverty spec 90 in Cairns Blue and TBH I like the colour.

When I got it I was going to colour code the arches and roof, but decided against it and now I really like the contrast roof Thumbs Up

Lovely pictures gents, loving your blue Defenders...I always wanted a blue one, but when I ordered mine this February, dealer advised LR doesn't do them in blue anymore Big Cry in my eyes you're lucky you have one Thumbs Up was a big dissapointment i couldn't get it, but hoping the green one will live up to my expectations Very Happy

I'll do you a swap JK84 Smile

I like my defender, but can't help thinking I'd prefer pretty much every other colour over blue!

umMM I like

I've be trying to find a pic of a cairns blue 90 with sawtooth alloy, now I really can't decide on which wheels for mine. Are they the same general grabber tires?

Yep, same tyres on there. Had them swapped over at a local tyre place for a tenner per wheel. It's amazing how wheels totally transform the look of a car.

Thanks for the reply dave. Your right about how they can change the look of a car. I was going to have black checker plate on the sills too, to go with the black wheel arches, but now Im thinking of bowler sills decisions decisions. I might as well have bought a black defender Rolling with laughter
