Thanks Venomator. Really chuffed with it. I did suggest several times to SWMBO that really I should have the new one and that the used, slightly grubby XS HT was best suited to her needs......errrr NO! Smile

Hi Martin,

It is a CSW but after negotiating the discount to get a price I went back a couple times and got some extras added as sweeteners at the price so got the side steps, cubby box, rear space and front mats included. Bar the leather steering wheel and aircon, its pretty much the same up front as my XS HT. Got seat covers on so don't notice half leather or lack of on the front seats.

Now that's a car park full of beauty Thumbs Up

Congrats Mojo, hard to say which one is prettier...I guess the shiny Keswick is winning for now. What a pair anyway!

I was confused with that XS grille too, thought for a while they don't do them in black plastic anymore, which I would be gutted as I'm hoping to change my XS one for the old school black plastic ones, I just like them very much for some reason Very Happy

Hi Martin,
Just catching up with your replies (you type faster than me... I'm getting old Laughing ) Hmmm, grille and lights are 'standard as it comes' so guess we got lucky.

Not surprised Mojo, these trucks have so much character Very Happy

I still have a painful three months of waiting to go - mid of May build and first week of June delivery Big Cry first month is over and felt like a year...at least the pictures on the forum keep me entertained.

Know exactly what you mean. But that is why I am heavily modifying my bike, to also make it unique. Time for a blast soon.... Very Happy Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Hi Grenadier.
Good man, what bike do you ride?
I sold my sportsbike last year and bought a BMW R Nine T in an effort to slow the pace down. It did, but I find it a bit boring pootling on the bike, but in the Landy it's brilliant Confused

Thanks Steve E, glad we did the deal and got the second one. Learnt quite a bit owning the 90XS this last year, finding out what bits of the spec we valued, and which didn't bother us so much, so probably did a better job getting the spec right for us at the price this time (they cost almost exactly the same)
Mandie is a happy bunny Very Happy

We must all be getting older and maybe a little wiser as my Heritage HT will be my motorbike replacement as we all need a toy or two.
I got hit off nearly six years ago and didn't bounce Laughing
a long spell in Hospital and a few copies of LRM and that was it.
I'm enjoying a slower pace of life plodding in my Defender with no urgency to get anywhere.

(my wife has threatened to drive my defender one day Shocked)

Sorry to hear about the accident Steve E, thank goodness you are here after that....We came to the Landy after being T boned on a junction by a driver that didn't slow at a give way...didn't even see him coming. Rolled and totalled our Kuga. I'd always believed that on my bike I could make allowances for others around me. Seriously dented my confidence when I realised I wouldn't always see the other guy..

Fantastic choice with the Heritage, reckon they will be brilliant to own Thumbs Up

Good luck keeping hold of your Landy once your wife has got to drive it...that's what happened to me Rolling with laughter

Sounds like you had a bad one too mate.
Hope you were Ok after that.

people go too fast and i see more and more people on phones while driving every day.
I'm off bikes for good which is a shame as I always had one even as a kid.

The wife might be a problem and is threatening to drive the 90 when it comes.
I did say we could buy her one as well to replace her 2008 Terios but all I got was "why do we need three Defenders"
As if you can have too many or something. Laughing

Your pics are great and I hope you both smile from ear to ear every time you look out onto your drive.
