Hi Gentlemen,

Please allow me to point out as quoted on page 944 of 1479 of Defender MY12 Workshop Manual.

Fuel Tank Capacities

Variant Capacity (Usable Fuel)

90 55 liters

110/130 70 liters

Hope this helps.

Regards LesDef

I was thinking about this "game" the other day,

after nearly 6 months of ownership and 6,000 odd miles i found out for the first time it makes a lovely little "ding" noise when the red light comes on!

Shocked i was! but it got me thinking....................... I don't reckon I would be very good at this game!

Rolling with laughter

I would be rubbish too....

Perhaps it is a throwback to the days owning a 2.25 petrol series or a V8 90 but i would be getting nervous about finding a filling station when the needle got to 1/4 tank left. Let alone thinking about letting it ping the light on which equated to 15 miles if your lucky territory.

Just filled up and 69.06 ltrs and 522.8 miles which would indicate better mpg Mr. Green

Can't quite recall when I had the 450Nm tune but either way to be getting this out of a tank with almost 30% more torque is great.

Anyone with a standard tune......what you waiting for? (2.4 - don't know about the 2.2)
