I think it sounds like a really great format, but the entry fee makes it unfeasable I am afraid. I would also be curious to know why the entry fee was that high, and alongside that I would be curious to know how many teams you would see entering and that sort of thing...
The idea of a sort of 'overland wide game' competition really does appeal though... Mark [:O|===|O:] 2001 110 TD5 Doublecab |

£625 is a lot less than many 4x4 tour comapnies charge for following them around for a week. This sounds like a massive amount of fun and I would love to come...
(a) If i had the money, (b) if i had the spare holiday, (c) if i had a hope in hell of justifying leaving Mrs 110SEB alone with a 3 yr old and 3 month old I will require at least 100 photos posted of such a trip if it goes ahead. Seb |

Because the organisers have to go recce the route and sort out all the admin of seting up and stripping out of a competition. That doesn't come cheap if done properly.

Al for whats it worth and if i was buy new I would go with the new airtop in black, as it would go with mine well, your options are better as black or white would look good and I like the system where you don't have to crank it up and down brenden has this one, draw back he said was getting to the front ratchet strap to pull it shut
I think the medium is the most common size as this fits nicely on our RACKs at approx 1400mm wide. |
