Wales 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Bonatti Grey
[For Sale] General Grabber TR Tyres x 5
I have for sale 5 x General Grabber TR tyres

These tyres are used but not damaged - recently taken off my Defender as I have now fitted Cooper ST MAXX's.

4 of the tyres have a tread depth of around 8mm, the 5th was my spare and as such is like new.

Looking for £300 for all 5.

I would prefer cash on collection (based in Cardiff) but willing to ship if you cover the cost and can do bank transfer.

Any questions please ask Smile Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon

The dealers and tyre companies around here used to sell brand new take offs for £50 each. They were only £80 new. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

RED-DOT, tyres must be cheap around your way!

I was basing it on my-tyres.co.uk who are the cheapest outlet I could find, £110 delivered each new and a recent eBay auction that finished on £230 for a set of 5 all with 6mm tread.

I priced the tyres based on £50 x 4 for the used ones and £100 x 1 for the spare.

To be honest I set it that way expecting to be knocked down anyway, maybe it's too expensive who knows, I'm not in a rush so if they don't sell I will drop the price in a month or so or maybe someone will make me an offer!

Doubt I'll sell them on here now though!!! Thumbs Up Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon

Oh the irony of RED-DOT claiming somebody else's Classified is expensive.

My tyre outlet used to give £50 for delivery mileage ice creamers for upgraded tyres. He had almost a container full of them and stopped offering this deal. He was selling them on for no profit and struggled. PM me and i can supply his contacts. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

How you finding the ST Maxx's ?
Was thinking about changing to those from my BFG mud terrains.

Martin,

As a tyre I think they are great. Not too noisy on the road (bit noisier than my old BFG AT's) along with good road handling, off road I've not taken them in really gloopy stuff yet but they are at least as good as the AT's and having read lots of reviews I'm convinced they will offer plenty more. The aggressive looking tread certainly suggests so!

My only gripe at the moment is that I seem to be unable to balance them, not sure if it's my wheels or what but they wanted a lot of weight and so far my experiment with balancing beads isn't working (see my thread in the wheel and tyre section). Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon
