Difficult to surmise. We could theorise all day on this. Possible water ingress into the 10as unit? Are the footwells and underdash dry or show signs of water ingress? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Foot wells wet. Horn is now intermittent, seems like some sort of earthing issue to as when I touch it the horn goes again. Are the headlights working off 1 relay and if so which one. High beam is working though.

Sounds like the 10as unit as stated which would be a dealer fix. Liaise with your local dealer or independant or a mate with a code reader perhaps and get them to stick it on the diagnostics that'll determine exactly what's going on.
Alternatively disconnect the battery, remove the relays under the drivers dash and try and get a fan heater or some warmth in there in an attempt to dry everything out. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
